Interests

What I do when I am not at the bench.

01

Photography

I shoot mostly at the edges of the day, when the light does the work for you. Landscapes, campus, and the occasional long exposure of a sky that will not hold still.

Music & Worship

I play piano, guitar, and drums, and I sing. Most weeks that means leading worship for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Rose-Hulman: putting a team together, running rehearsal, and building the night around the room rather than the setlist.

I also lead a small group and a weekly prayer meeting, and mentor other members one on one.

Cooking

Cooking is the part of chemistry you get to eat. It is also the fastest way I know to get people into one room and keep them there, which is usually the actual point.

Reading

Nonfiction about faith, and fiction for its own sake. I also volunteer at a reading boot camp in Clinton, Indiana.

Open to research positions, internships, and conversations about drug delivery.
